Has anyone used TED Pro with Web Energy Logger?
« on: February 14, 2017, 09:59:15 AM »
I currently have the TED 5000 and a WEL unit (Web Energy Logger).  The WEL interfaces with TED to retrieve energy usage info for posting to a web site.
(http://jboswald.net/Tab003.html).   I was wondering if anyone has used the WEL with a TED PRO?

Based on a reasonably careful but rapid reading of the WEL website, I would tend to believe that the TED Pro is not (or, at least, not yet) supported by the WEL device. The polling interface API of the Pro is similar in principle to that of the 5000 but significantly different in detail, so the WEL would need specific programming to deal with it. The WEL site only claims that it: "can read from two different net-aware power meters... the TED5000 and the eGauge."
