MTU solid yellow and PLC questions
« on: February 25, 2016, 06:28:19 PM »
Hello,

I just got a TED pro Home.  I can't get it to work.

The MTU in the breaker box has only a solid yellow light on, confirmed with another person.  I've changed which breaker it is on.  When shaken the MTU sounds like it has a loose thing inside.  Troubleshooting guide suggests there is a problem with the MTU.

I have a solar system that was built in two phases.  I think both systems transmit data via the same PLC as the Ted.  When I added solaredge to my enphase I had to isolate the enphase to its own outlet to keep it working.  The solaredge (I think) transmits wireless.  I have a thing with an antenna on it.  I wonder what issues I will have getting data to my PC once my MTU will work and how to overcome the problem.  In the general area I have outlets for:
coffee,
light.
solaredge solar
enphase solar albeit isolated
printer
pc
phone
router
etc
Not a lot of room to isolate the TED Pro.

Help please,
thanks
