Changes of energy rates.
« on: May 21, 2015, 09:49:16 PM »
Hi, i'm a canadian and I have 2 questions.

1st, I cant choose any city from Quebec or any postal code (since our postal codes are with Letter and Number, ex. J9Z1J6)

2nd, my energy bill have a particularity and I would like to know how I can enter it in TED Pro. The first 30 kwh per day is at 0.0557 and the rest of the day is 0.0826
I have put 2 Tiers in the Utility settings but It would be great to add an option to reset the Tier daily, weekly, montly... (or maybe there is another way to do it?)
I dont know yet when those tier reset since I have just installed my TED.

Thanks for your support, and I appologize for any grammar error since i'm french.

The postal codes will only recognize U.S. postal codes.

From the information you have given below this is what I did to setup  the  Utility Wizard.

1. On the Footprints page you will see in the Top left corner   SETTINGS
Select Settings to bring down a menu. On that menu select  Utility Settings

2.  Normally we would select the Second tab called  Utility Rate Setup
set the Meter read date and if the Utility has seasons.

3. Plan Type     Tiered

4 Now we are on the Tiers tab.
You stated "  The first 30 kwh per day is at 0.0557 and the rest of the day is 0.0826"
So put 30 in the only open box.

5. Energy rates.
Tier 1   0.0557
Tier 2    0.0826

6. Write to the ECC and save it!
