TED6000 / TED PRO - HTTP request like TED5000 API .. update
« on: January 28, 2015, 11:47:06 PM »
We had a TED5000 and used the http API extensively ..

We have "upgraded" to TEDPro .. and do not see the same interface. We have been told to look at the third party API's and have installed them only to find out that the data structure and data content are significantly different.

Can someone please confirm that the 5000 http API is not available for the 6000 .. If that is the case that is a shame because it truly was more flexible and handling the data was much easier ..

I must be missing something re this new API .. why was it changed from the 5000?

I assume that you have a copy of the document that describes the TED6000 API, which is, as you note, somewhat different to that of its predecessor device. AFAIK, it is what it is. In particular, you cannot access minimum and maximum data values for any period because (again AFAIK) they are no longer stored. I assume that there were tradeoffs involved in supporting the Spyder functionalities.
