Ted Screensaver
« on: June 06, 2019, 09:30:50 PM »
I wrote a Windows screensaver that pulls data from the TED Pro and displays a gauge on the screen showing the amount of power that is currently being used.  I'm making this freely available to anyone who wants to use it if anyone is interested.

There is no installation required.  Simply download TedScreenSaver.SCR and copy it into your Windows directory.  Then use the Windows screensaver selection dialog and choose TedScreenSaver.

In the screensaver Settings dialog box, enter the URL you use to access Footprints.  i.e. http://ted6000/Footprints.html if that is what you use.  You can also choose maximum gauge watts, a gauge color set, and more.

This should be considered Beta software at this point.  It's working well for me, but who knows what bugs might show up on other systems.  If you decide to try it, let me know here how it works.

I just released update 0.8.3 to TED Screensaver.

The first release had a limitation where the Min and Max readings would only be updated when the screensaver was running.  This update fixes that issue by adding a second optional program called TED Screensaver Companion which constantly monitors power use.
