New TED Pro questions
« on: April 02, 2014, 04:29:10 AM »
Just got the TED Pro installed and seems to be working fine but I have 2 questions;

1) Can the ECC be plugged into a surge suppressor or would this interrupt the communications with the MTU?

2) How much data can the MTU/ECC store?  If I did not turn on a PC and check its status periodically would some usage history eventually be lost.

Plugging the ECC into a surge suppressor is not recommended, since it is likely to interfere with PLC communications.

See http://www.theenergydetectiveforums.com/index.php/topic,2952.msg7484.html#msg7484 for the data storage specifications - these are the same as the TED5000's.
