Number of connection allowed to the TED web interface?
« on: November 05, 2013, 10:15:41 PM »
I have my TED interface published via a port forward to the internet. It looks like it gets hit with a port scan and the connections never die. A couple of questions.

1. Is there  connection timeout in the web server?
2. What is the max client (children) connections allowed?
3. Is there a way to send it a reboot command externally with like curl to clear the connections?

Hello solar_dave,

I spoke with our software developer and received the following answers for you:

1. The timeout is handled on the browser side and is 30 seconds.

2. 2 simultaneous open sockets is the maximum.

3. Yes, but unfortunately we do not publish that information as it is proprietary.

Have a great day!

The issue is if a socket is opened against the web server and it is not a java based TED loaded web browser it looks like it doesn't clean up the socket. I have seen my gateway so locked up only a power cycle reboot will allow access again.

Only 2 children in the web server, oh my!
