Tier rates higher than 9.99
« on: March 04, 2011, 05:06:20 PM »
Hello!
I have several TED5000 units and I need the Tier rates to be higher than 9.99 But the system does not allow higher tier rates. Is it possible to configure tier rates higher than 9.99 ? I need it to be 14. I'm using other currency than US$ Dollars.
Thanks

Probably the simplest answer is to use a multiplier - if your maximum rate is less than 20, divide all your rates by 2 before entering them, then multiply the displayed cost by 2 to correct it.

Yes, the rates should be entered in dollars not cents. For example:

5.5 cents should be entered as $0.055.

That one gets me almost every time, I have have the utility rate sheet that has the rates as 9.67 cents. So I enter 9.67...dollars. Thankfully I almost always catch it before I finish the installation and change it to .0967 dollars.
