pvoutput.org (solar PV logging) integration with TED 5000
« on: April 27, 2011, 05:15:57 PM »
The good folks (folk, actually) at pvoutput.org have added TED 5000 integration in their javascript service as of v1.0.1, see http://code.google.com/p/pvoutput-integration-service/downloads/list

pvoutput.org is a great place to send your solar PV generation data to compare with others, see historical trends, etc.  Here's mine:

It's free service and getting better all the time.

I didn't write the TED integration, but they wrote it on my request.  Oddly enough I don't have a TED - so if anyone wants to give it a go, it'd be great to see if it's working properly!

How do you upload the data?  Do you have to have a computer to upload it for you?

Yes, it would take another always-on computer to query the TED an send it to pvoutput.org, for now.  A low power linux box would work.  It'd be nice if pvoutput.org could accept a data push from the TED, but I'm not sure he's set up to be able to do that ...
