Title: TED1000 Serial Interface Specs
Post by: ldeffenb on July 22, 2011, 10:38:05 AM
I have a TED 1000 with FootPrints and it was working fine until I switched from Vista 64 to Windows 7 64 at which time TEDService seems to have lost it's mind.  Which made me consider whether I really need all of the fanciness of FootPrints anyway.

Is the specification for using the serial COM port to talk to the RDU directly published?  And if not published, can I sign some sort of non-disclosure to get access to it for personal use?

I have pretty much the exact same request: can I get the serial specs for the TED 1000 RDU?  I'd like to whip up an app to log data from the RDU over the serial port to a Raspberry Pi (a cheap, low-power linux pc).  I'm happy to sign an NDA, too, if the specs aren't public... I'd rather not have to bother reverse engineering them :-)  Thanks!
