The graph labels ("Power" and "Voltage") for the vertical axis are displaying incorrectly.
They are showing up horizontal instead of vertical.
The left label is also running outside of the display frame.
Surely others are seeing this.
What is strange is it isn't always incorrect and when wrong it isn't always wrong the same way.
I see the issue on the TED site TED5000 demo as well as my own gateway running the latest f/w (gateway 1.0.499, FootPrints 1.0.281)
It looks like it may be trying to do some kind of work arounds that are failing with any of the newer browsers.
It would be really nice to get this fixed.

I've attached a screen grab from TED500 vs TED Pro so you can see the issue.

The axis labels are incorrect/horizontal on this OS & Browser:
linux Mint 17.1
- Chrome (Version 48.0.2564.103)
- Firefox (43.0)

Window 7 starter
- Chrome (Version 48.0.2564.103 m)
- Firefox (43.0.4)
- IE (version 9)
This one started off correct with both vertical then immediately changed with
both horizontal but the left "Power kw" label has each character flipped upside down moving right to left.
So you see "wk rewoP" but upside down (but each character is not backwards).

Android 4.1.2
- Chrome (Version 48.0.2564.95)
- Firefox (43.0)

The axis labels are correct/vertical on this OS & Browser
Windows XP
- Firefox (17)

Android 4.1.2
- Dolphin (v11.4.21)

However, these browsers, display the vertical labels "Voltage" and "Power Kw" going top to bottom vs the Ted Pro which displays them bottom to top.

It is browser-related. MacOS 10.6.8 / Safari 5.1.10 displays correctly. Browser app is dated 2013.
Same OS, Firefox 44.0.something, labels display sideways. Same in Ubuntu OS, current Firefox app: sideways.

Problem is old gateway firmware using deprecated html coding. Newer browsers have given up on old code kludges. If you look at the javascript driving the display, there's at least one browser-conditional code, but I don't think newer browsers are triggering the conditions. Flags have probably changed.

It would be nice if TED would push out a gateway code update to allow the graphing labels on the TED5000 to work correctly with current browsers, particularly since the TED5000 product is still being sold.

Clearly the issue has been delt with on the TEDPro but, as is, none of the current browsers, including IE, Firefox, or Chrome work correctly with the TED5000 graphing page.

This is a known issue and birdfeedr is correct on the reasoning for it. The issue has been corrected on our current models in production. The TED Pro series is our latest model and features updated hardware and software so our software developer is focused on the features of the current system. We simply don't have the resources to go back and update an older model every time there is a change or update to various internet browsers that may effect the display of a system that is no longer in production and is in process of being phased out. Just as the TED1001 was phased out of production and sell several years ago, the early models of the TED5000 have already been phased out and are no longer supported like the 20 series Gateways. There is still a small amount of remaining stock of the 21 Series gateway but production has been phased out for close to, if not over 3 years ago with the latest release of firmware for it being around then. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for you but with technology this is one of the common pitfalls faced by rapidly changing and advancements of it.
