Negative watts reading .. new TED6000
« on: January 11, 2015, 01:07:48 AM »
Just trying to update from 5000 to 6000.

I have a main 400 amp panel and a pup and am in the process of slowly setting up the TED. I have two spyders.

We have installed the 400amp CT's on the main panel with the set of 200amp CT's that originally came with Pro going to the pup  .. one per leg to the pup.

The 400 CT's go to the MTU .. and the 200CT's (org) go to the one of the two spiders. .. One to port 2 Spyder 2 and one to port 4 Spyder 2.

There is one reg 20amp CT on a regular 120 circuit on port 8 Spyder 2.

These all appear to be set up properly in Footprints.

What is displaying on the dashboard ... main voltage is 120 volts .. which is right . .but the amps being used is "-1.8kw" .. which I do not know if it is right or wrong ..

However .. I do not see any of the measured circuits .. (port 2, 4, 8) on spyder 2.

Can anyone help with this .. .. thanks for help in advance ..

You are getting negative readings because your CT's are plugged into the wrong ports on the MTU. Try switching 2 of the CT's and check your readings again.
I don't understand your problem with the spyder's, if you could try to rephrase it that might help me understand your problem better.
