Monthly Dollar Values Incorrect

Long time TED user with a solar system.

Last couple of months the dollar value for the month is incorrect for "net" and "MTU1" .  MTU2 which is the solar generation is correct. It appears that the solar amount from MTU2 is double added into MTU1, then when MTU2 is subtracted from MTU1 the Net is incorrect.

What is odd is that the daily values for all three registers are correct.  Also all kWh amounts for day and month and for all three registers are correct.

I'm using a TOU utility setup and I have some suspicion it has to do with that setup.  Anyone else see this effect?

I have a similar problem the reading from the net is incorrect.   The solar (on MTU2) is correct as I can check it with my inverter readings but the MTU1 (house load) always seems low hence overly optimistic net.  I've mailed the tech guys at TED and have as yet no reply (about 2 weeks ago)

What versions of firmware are you running? Help > About. How long have you been seeing the issues, and does it stay consistent? Is there any relation between the issue since it has arisen and when you updated the firmware versions, OR, were the existing current versions already on the system since installation (they have never been updated)? Please email us at support@theenergydetective.com with 'monthly cost' in the subject field and we would like to send you previous firmware to run for a month as a test to see if that is the cause of the issue. I am having the same problem. I have been having the problem for about two + months.  I did do a firmware update about that time.  I actually submitted a ticket a few minutes ago.  ticket #2808  My monthly costs are way off.  about 2x

I am running
Gateway Version 1.0.483
Daughterboard Version 1.0.48
Footprints Version 1.0.262
MTU Version 1.0.61

I should add i am also have generation.

My NET and MTU1 are OFF.  My MTU2 and MTU3 are correct on cost values.

MTU1 is adjusted load
MTU2/3 are generation

You know what it looks like its doing.  Its showing the right KWH usage for all three MTU's and the NET.

But, it looks like for MTU1 cost, it is adding the combined negative costs of MTU2 and MTU3.

Something like :

Example.
MTU2 KWH =  -100   *  .20  =  -$20.
MTU3 KWH = -100    * .20 =  -$20.
MTU1 KWH = 300   * .20 = $60.00

KWH cost is .20 / KWH

So, for MTU1 KWH its correctly showing 300, but for cost its showing $100.00 instead of $60.00
and then its throwing off COST for NET.  It shows the correct NET KWH as 100 KWH, but then for cost its showing
$60.00 instead of correctly showing $20.00

Well finally someone has the same issue.  Thanks for posting.

ted support suggested that I up grade to footprints 263.  I did.  Now await the end  month to see if it's a fix.

This is simply a software fix.  No more complicated than a sign change problem.  It appears only for those with solar generation with a MTU2 and TOU setup.  Upgrade to Footprints 263 hopefully will solve the problem.

upgrade to footprints to 263.  ted support says should solve problem.

ok, but the most updated firmware I can find is footprints 262 with gateway r482.  Where do I go to get 263?

I have this problem -- installed Footprints Version 1.0.263 and saw no change.
I gather this is one of those fixes that only works going forward?  Absent the
mythical "history editor", is there any way to recalculate past months cost using
the new math or am I stuck with the wrong cost info for 2 years?
